The IMS Symposium 2024 successfully brought together professionals and experts in membrane and lightweight architecture for two days of insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and valuable networking opportunities.

The first day featured a series of presentations highlighting recent project developments, advancements in sustainability, and cutting-edge innovations in the field. AMA also presented the AMA Awards, reinforcing the importance of fostering a strong, collaborative community within the industry. The day concluded with a heartfelt tribute to Robert Off, honouring his decades of dedication and significant contributions to the discipline. It was a moving moment that recognised his lasting impact and the inspiration he continues to provide.

Day two continued with further presentations, dynamic discussions, and meaningful exchanges among participants. A guided tour of the iconic Bauhaus Museum in Dessau offered attendees a unique insight into the historical foundations of modern design and architecture. The symposium closed with a relaxed farewell cocktail, providing a final opportunity to reflect on shared experiences and strengthen professional connections.

Sincere thanks to all participants, organisers, and attendees. We look forward to welcoming you to future events.
